Managed Learning

Have somebody else run the learning operation.

Most organisations do not need another platform. They need the administrative weight of learning taken off their team, under a service level they can rely on.

What is Cyberwisdom's managed learning services capability?

Cyberwisdom Group's managed learning services — the group's digital business process outsourcing offering for learning operations — takes on the day-to-day running of an organisation's learning operation. A dedicated team works remotely under an agreed service level, covering course, catalogue and training record administration, learner support and helpdesk handling, reporting packs and compliance documentation, and delivery under standardised service levels. The capability also extends into managed learning and AI agent outsourcing, allowing the group to operate both the human learning operation and the agent-driven elements of a learning estate on the client's behalf.

The offer

Four things the managed team takes on.

The point of outsourcing learning operations is not cost. It is that the people inside your organisation can be doing the work that needs them, rather than administering a platform.

Course & catalogue administration

Creating, maintaining, retiring and tagging content; managing enrolment rules, cohorts and mandatory assignments; keeping the catalogue accurate so that compliance reporting means something.

Training record administration

Maintaining accurate learner records, evidence and completion status across systems — including the reconciliation that consumes the most manual effort.

Learner support & helpdesk

First-line support for learners and managers, under agreed service levels. A programme that is technically fine but poorly supported simply loses its audience.

Reporting & compliance documentation

Regular reporting packs, CPD and compliance documentation, audit preparation and the follow-up that turns a report into a decision.

Service model

How the engagement runs.

Managed services fail when the service level is vague and the governance is informal. Ours is defined up front.

Detail
TeamA dedicated named team working remotely, with defined scope, capacity and continuity arrangements
Service levelsAgreed, measured and reported — response and resolution targets by request type, with escalation paths
ReportingScheduled reporting packs, exception reporting and a regular service review against the agreed scope
GovernanceA named service manager on both sides, with a documented escalation path and a quarterly scope review
SecurityRole-based access, least privilege, confidentiality obligations and any additional client requirements reflected in the agreement
TransferKnowledge transfer is planned in from the beginning, so the service can be brought in-house when that becomes the right decision
Agent outsourcing

Running the agent layer too.

As learning estates gain agents, so does the operational surface. Cyberwisdom operates both.

Agent operations

Managed operation of AI agents within the learning estate — monitoring runs, escalating exceptions, maintaining evaluation sets and keeping the underlying context current.

Content currency

Agents grounded in a learning estate are only as good as that estate's freshness. The managed team keeps both the content and the context accurate.

Human-agent handoff

Designing and running the point where a learner, a manager or an agent hands work to a human — and making sure the human has what they need to act.

Who it suits

When managed learning is the right answer.

A test, not a slogan

Managed learning is right when the learning operation is necessary but not differentiating, and the internal team is better deployed elsewhere.

 • Choose it when the internal L&D team is stretched by administration, when compliance reporting consumes disproportionate hours, or when multi-site delivery makes consistency hard to hold.
 • Be cautious when the learning programme is genuinely your differentiator and the knowledge of your people is the asset — an outsourced team will maintain it competently, but it will not own it.
 • Be explicit about the boundary between managed operations and internal capability. Blurring it is how a managed service quietly becomes a permanent dependency.
 • Plan the exit from the start. A managed agreement with no transfer plan is a permanent cost with no exit, however good the service is.
